What a successful day we have had removing redundant plant from the roof of the leisure centre in South East London

 

 

The crane was set up on a short rig to position our 2.8m x 1.2m steel crane mats. Either end of the lifting area was cordoned off using red / white barrier and signage.

 

 

The AHU and CHP was removed from site, using our articulated flatbed urban trailer, and all the previously dismantled items including the boiler was removed using our hook loader vehicle (including a 40yrd RORO skip).

 

 

The AHU unit was lifted down in 5 sections utilising the lifting holes mounted in the frame of each section. We used our lifting needles to lift each section safely.
The CHP was the last item to be landed onto our trailer. Once this vehicle left site, we began to remove the smaller items from the roof using our lifting skip. There was roughly 6-8 skip loads lifted down and emptied into the 40yrd RORO skip for removal from site.
Lastly, everything was tidied and packed away! GOOD JOB GUYS!
